동원F&B가 42년 역사상 가장 매운 ‘동원 불참치’를 출시했다. 

이 제품은 담백한 참치 살코기에 베트남 고추와 특제 불소스가 들어가 매콤하고 얼얼한 맛을 제공하며, 스코빌 지수는 약 3886SHU로 기존 고추참치의 2배 이상 높다. 90g 소용량으로 포장되어 있어 별도의 조리 없이 밥과 함께 먹기 좋고, 면과 비벼 먹거나 안주로 활용할 수 있다.

최근 MZ세대의 매운 음식 선호에 힘입어, 동원F&B는 동원 불참치를 미국, 일본, 동남아시아 등 해외로 수출하여 K푸드의 대표 제품으로 육성할 계획이다. 동원F&B 관계자는 MZ세대의 매운맛 자부심을 겨냥하여 이 제품을 기획했다고 밝혔다.

This product features tender tuna meat combined with Vietnamese chili and a special spicy sauce, delivering a hot and tingling flavor with a Scoville rating of approximately 3886SHU, more than double that of the existing spicy tuna (1935SHU). Packaged in a convenient 90g size, it can be enjoyed without additional cooking, making it suitable for eating with rice, mixing with noodles, or as a snack.

With the growing interest in spicy food, particularly among the MZ generation, Dongwon F&B plans to actively export Dongwon Spicy Tuna to the U.S., Japan, and Southeast Asia, promoting it as a representative K-food product. A Dongwon F&B representative stated that the product was designed to appeal to the MZ generation's pride in spicy flavors.
